When it comes to finding the right fleece vest for you. Most skiers I know base the decision primarily on fashion. And so long as you buy a fleece that is made out of quality materials, this is perfectly acceptable. However, keep in mind that many have different options. However, if you have ever shopped for a fleece vest then I am sure you now that there are tons to choose from. Finally, saving money on a vest is pretty easy, I like to find my size at the local shop and then shop online to see who has the best selection, and the best prices. Assuming you know the size, color and style you want, you can almost always find something on sale.
